And guess what–we only take 20 kids per week and we have a 2:1 ratio of students per counselor plus a social worker!
And, this summer we are also partnering with NYU’s Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders.

JULY 2013 SUMMER WORKSHOPS For Kids With Special Needs
Weekly Workshops, 10 am to 4 pm, Monday-Friday, ages 9-17
Create amazing things with technology by being exposed to software and programming—and learn 21st century tech skills. Each week consists of 13 students with a high 2:1 instructor ratio. Workshops include: experienced teachers, guest lecturers by people in the tech field, free time to experiment
with technology, field trips, socialization and more! For weeks 1-3 a social worker will be on site to assist students with social and emotional skill strategies. Sign up for one week or all four!
Week 1: 7/8-7/12: Sound, Special Effects & Audio Engineering

Week 2: 7/15-7/19: Animations
@ Pace University in Lower Manhattan
Week 3: 7/22-7/27: Mobile Apps

Week 4: 7/29-8/2: Board & Digital Games
@ The JCC in Manhattan on the Upper Westside
Cost: $485 per week. There are a limited number of financial scholarships.
